Today we - me, Chloe, Tom, Alice and Jess - met under Clapham Common clocktower at midday to start our walk to Crystal Palace. A route chosen by Chloe to include some hills and a swimming pool at the end to ensure her and Tom got in just a bit more execise today.
It immediately started to drizzle, and some of us were feeling a little bit under the weather (due to an assortment of reasons including alcohol, a new tattoo and the aftermath of a second rabies jab!), but after dosing up on some great coffee we set off accross the common. Chloe at the helm with map-reading-of-sorts we weaved our way through Clapham to Dulwich and then on to Crystal Palace park. The rain stayed away and we even saw some sunshine - Tom braving just a t-shirt!
Chloe and Tom impressively managed a good long swim in Crystal Palace Olympic sized pool, while I wandered my way back to Clapham on foot. My new Mountain Warehouse sponsored socks holding up well...
