Thats what I'm talking about! A legitimate reason for shopping!
Taking everyone's advice to get proper boots nice and early to give time to wear them in, I popped into Blacks in Clapham Junction today. The extremely hunky red-haired man-mountain showed me round the different boots and it didn't take too much to persuade me to fork out £120 on the super lightweight hardy leather Brashers. He described them as "the tits" which I think is a techical term.
I am currently sitting wearing my new babies, and they fit like a glove. A really stiff and tough glove.
I'm trying to work out whether I should walk the hour to work tomorrow in them...
