we are planning a big walk in Boxhill on the 2nd and so Rosie and will be able to test out our nice new merino base layers - I think Rosie is astounded by how foxy and stylish the leggings in particular are...
and we are going to try walking with poles for the first time. Dom says they can reduce the energy needed to walk by a huge amount (he may have said 40% or I may have made that up) and so I guess it is worth a try. I don't really like the idea of them but if they help me get up and back down the hill, whatever.
not all I have to do is get over this ctinking cold that has made me sit on my butt for 2 days doing no training at all - guilty feeling!
